What should be in your First Aid Kit?
To be prepared in case of an emergency, make sure your first-aid kit contains
the following items:
- Disposable medical exam gloves (latex or vinyl)
- Mouth-to-barrier devices for rescue breathing
- Thermometer
- Adhesive bandage strips
- Roller gauze and gauze pads
- Self-adhering roller bandage
- Antibiotic ointment or antiseptic wipes
- Calamine lotion
- Hydrocortisone creme or ointment
- Aloe vera gel
- Non-aspirin pain relievers for children
- Aspirin or ibuprofen
- Medical tape
- Tweezers
- Scissors
- Antibacterial hand wash
- Syrup of ipecac
- Saline solution
